Kalmeo is a limited Liability Company with a capital of 100,000.00 euros created in september, 2007 that aims to design and deploy digital mobile entertainment services.

For several years now, mobile applications have grown beside the business market but now, tends to join the general public. In this context of quick expansion of mobile services, Kalmeo is determined to be at the forefront of technological innovation to speed up the adoption of innovative mobile services that will cause a major change in people's life.

Strong of its knowledge in the development of J2ME applications, the company involve itself in the Open Source community through the development of a J2ME framework that makes easy to design Java applications of mobile phones. This framework, named Kuix, is the knowledge key of the company and evolves with the feedbacks and needs of the Community.

With his Research & Development department, Kalmeo uses lastest state-of-the-art technologies to explore new ways for communication that turn a mobile phone into an advanced communication device. The company L'entreprise intends to promote new communication styles that will enhance the mobile users experience.

Kalmeo takes part in Lyon Games and Lyon Infocité, two associations that helps to create synergies between the digital entertainment industries and is also involved in the pole of competitiveness Imaginove that cover all activities related to moving pictures within the Rhone Alpes region (second region in France).
